Blending Tradition and Modernity: Architectural Excellence with Hiren Patel

During an intensive six-month collaboration with Hiren Patel, a leading figure in Indian architecture, I contributed to over thirty residential and commercial projects. My multifaceted role spanned conceptual sketches for high-end residences and restaurants, detailed working drawings for villas, and immersive site visits. This experience sharpened my adaptability and deepened my understanding of design’s real-world impact.

Regular interactions with clients and contractors allowed me to refine site styling to ensure projects exceeded expectations. Among these diverse ventures, the ‘jaali’ screen design for a residential poolside stands out. Crafted from antique stone, the screen blended tradition and innovation, tempering Ahmedabad’s heat while enhancing the ambiance. The delicate patterns allowed cool breezes to mingle with the pool’s mist, creating a serene retreat.
